Gala looks like a dance shoe, but she FEELS like the softest, most flexible sneaker you own.

Built for the dancer who wants their shoes to look the part without paying for it in blisters. A breathable mesh upper that gives where your foot moves. Microfibre lining that wicks moisture. Vivaz signature soft gel cushioning underfoot. A 2" suede-wrapped Cuban heel with a split sole arch for maximum articulation.

Lace her up for salsa practice, cha cha cha into class and finish the night at a bachata social. She handles all of it.

Vivaz shoes are made in EU sizing and run on the firm side. We recommend sizing up by one full size from your everyday shoe. If you have wide feet or high arches, size up by two.

Example: if you wear an AU/US 6, choose AU/US 7. If you wear an AU/US 6 wide, choose AU/US 8.

Looking after Gala

• Brush the suede sole with a suede brush before every dance to keep her grippy.
• Wipe the mesh upper with a damp cloth to clean.
• Don't wear outdoors. The suede sole is built for studio floors and will wear fast on pavement.
• Store in the dust bag she comes in.

Are Gala shoes good for beginners?

Absolutely. The lace-up closure gives you a secure adjustable fit, the 2" heel is approachable if you're not used to higher heels, and the cushioning means you can dance for hours while you're learning without your feet hurting.

Do Gala shoes fit wide feet?

Gala runs slightly firm. If you have wide feet, size up by two sizes from your everyday shoe. The mesh upper has some give, which helps the fit conform to your foot over the first few wears.

How long do Vivaz dance shoes last?

With normal use, expect Gala to last 12 months or longer. The suede sole is the part that wears first. You can extend her life by brushing the sole regularly and only wearing her on studio or dance floors. Outdoor wear shortens her life significantly.

What's the heel height on Gala?

Gala has a 2" (5cm) Cuban heel. The block shape gives you stability through balance, posture, and turns, and the height is approachable for dancers building confidence in heels.
